On 44th between 6th and Broadway stands a large old building, along-side sits one of the most beautiful fire escapes...even more gorgeous from below, I soon discover-ed. I'm a little obsessed with fire escapes. I wish I had one in my apartment to sit on and smoke cigarettes. And I don't even smoke.
It felt correct to begin my blog of the city's small wonders right outside the front door of my apartment--Wild flowers dancin' outside my Brooklyn building.
